Here at Cool Cats Cafe and Lounge we are here to provide a warm, cozy, caring, and safe place for everyone to enjoy the bond and companionship of our amazing rescue cats.

At the cafe all our cats come to us from Onslow County Animal Shelter and Carolina Animal Protection Society.

Appointment information

When booking a 30-minute or 60-minute session at Cool Cats Café and Lounge, you can interact with adoptable cats in a calm and playful environment. Ideal for families, friends, college students seeking a study spot, or anyone eager to spend time with our cute and cuddly rescues.

-            Appointments start at the half-hour mark.

-            Sessions are for all ages.

-            Children under the age of 16 must always be supervised by an adult 18 years of age or older inside the cat lounge to ensure the safety of everyone and the comfort of our cats.

-            Prices are subject to change based on specific events.

Please note the following:

1. Please plan additional time for parking/check-in/beverage and snack orders. No outside food or drink allowed.

2. Reservations are the preferred method for securing a spot in the cat lounge. Please book for each person in your party over the age of 12 months (1 year and older) by booking a time slot for each guest visiting.

3. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times in the lounge. For every 3 children there needs to be 1 supervising adult.

4. Shoes are optional in the lounge; guests can remove them for the safety of the kitties if they choose. We do ask that you keep your socks on.

5. Cancellations must be made within 1 hour of your appointment time to receive a refund.

6. Any guest who is not following lounge rules including being disruptive, loud, unruly, running, chasing cats etc. may be removed from the lounge for the safety of the cats and guests. No refund will be given in this situation.

7. If you have recently been around sick or unvaccinated cats or have been exposed to anything contagious such as Panleuk/Parvo/Ringwork etc., for the health and safety of our cats please rebook your visit at a later date. Thank you for understanding.

Friday: 9am - 9pm

Saturday: 9am -9pm

Sunday: 12pm - 7pm

Late Arrival and No-Show Policy

We sincerely request that all guests arrive on time for their appointments. If you arrive 10 minutes late or more, you will be considered a no-show, which will result in no refund. We reserve the right to give away your spot(s) in the cat lounge to walk-in visitors. We require 60-minute advanced notice of your cancelation prior to your booking time to receive a full refund. Please plan accordingly to ensure a timely arrival. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We also recommend that you arrive at a minimum of 10 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you have time to check in and browse the café and lounge.
